Another great night in the Zona! I was stumbling around the alley, cruising the SGs, when I spotted a bar that I hadn't been in yet. I thought, why not? I vaguely remember that the Mesera was sometimes on the menu depending on where you were and I just can't resist forbidden fruit! This girl is so sweet! Very innocent too... until now, haha! Mesero Hector was my wing man and arranged the whole thing (good guy). This is a grand jumble of various things from the past few weeks. One - Oxxo is everywhere. Just noticed a new one in the Easy Park garage: Finally had a chance to swing through Container Coffee Roaster (on Revo across from Cine Tonala) and this place is great! So I asked how do I handle two favorites at the same bar: I arrived at HK around 9:15 AM today and the place was dead. I go to TJ on Wed/Thu because those are my days off from work. I left Vegas via plane early Wednesday morning at 8 am and arrived in San Diego. Due to the windy conditions the flight sucked. Lots of turbulence on the descent into SD. Next time I will read weather reports and postpone my trip if there are windy conditions. Took the trolley down to Mex. Got 18.6 on San Ysidro Blvd. Crossed over through Pedwest and took an Uber to Ticuan. I checked in at 11 am. Ticuan is awesome for allowing this. So I've had an amazing week attending a work convention that involved drinking throughout the whole week. After it was done noontime on Friday, I made my arrangements to stay at Hotel Boutique from Airbnb. For $40 a night on a weekend on one day noticed, it seemed like a steal- Cascadss was $75, Ticuan was $105. Went down to TJ again with a coworker amigo, my 5th trip down. Parked at BSP again and it seems they have raised the rates, or shall I say reduced the parking times. Instead of $9/12 hrs on weekdays it's $9/10 hrs. Got to HK at 2:30 and checked our bags in and grabbed a beer while we waited to check in at 3.
